Welcome to FASHION MODEL TALK (or FMT). Please note that we expect all members to read and adhere to these rules. If you do not read the rules, you can expect to be warned and/or banned depending on the severity of what you've done and/or ignored.
ABOUT THE MODELS
This is the one and only place on the internet that any of these girls actually post. They will post about what they are up to, or reply to fans in the 'Messages From..." threads in their respective forums. However, please note that the girls cannot reply to every message left or question asked. Because of their crazy schedules, the models will not post on any sort of set schedule. Please do not pester the staff about when so-and-so will post, because we will not be able to tell you. Please also note that the models have had their PM functions shut off to avoid abuse.
Taboo Subjects
Please do not discuss who the models are dating, or anything about their personal lives unless the models bring it up. Also be aware that we will not allow discussion of whether or not a model smokes (both in the model forums, and general threads), general weight questions or about whether or not they have had surgery of some kind. Any posts/threads dealing with these topics will be deleted immediately.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. No Flaming/Harrassment/Bashing
Please show respect to your fellow members and the staff of this board by treating everyone how you wish to be treated. We expect all members to be courteous to their fellow members, to the models, and to the staff of this board. Calling people names, discussing inappropriate topics (which generally means anything sexual in nature) or treating people poorly is greatly frowned upon. Depending on the severity of the issue, you will be warned, or banned. BANS FOR THIS SORT OF THING ARE PERMANENT UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. Please note this ALSO includes insulting people because of their weak grasp of a language. If we find this happening, you will be warned.
2. No Trolling
This includes but is not limited to pretending to be someone you're not (another model, an actor/actress, etc), claiming you know someone you do not, or otherwise lying about your identity. If you are in fact a model, etc please contact a member of the staff with proof, otherwise will will have to ban you immediately. Fakes are not welcome here.
3. No Offensive and/or Illegal Content
Offensive or illegal content is not allowed on this board. This includes but is not limited to illegal software/music, pornography, images depicting cruelty to animals or people, racism, or any other content that the general public could term 'offensive' or 'illegal'. Porn is ANY form is not allowed, though we do allow nudity. Please see our nudity policy below. Any member found posting illegal content (including MP3s acquired illegally) will have their posts deleted and depending upon the severity of their action, will be permanently banned.
4. No Hot-linking
Do not hot-link files or images to this site from other sites. This includes in posts and your signatures/avatars. Hot-linking is considered STEALING and we will remove your posts/avatars/signatures with out warning. If you wish to post images, please use the forums ATTACHMENT feature (learn more about that at the Frequently Asked Questions thread) or use one of the many image hosting sites available. (Some of these include imageshack.us, tinypic.com, imagevenue.com, supload.com and many others).
5. No Spamming
Do not spam the board. This includes posting the same thread multiple times (once is quite enough), posting advertisements for other forums/sites, or advertising things that have nothing to do with the board. Your posts will be removed, and you will be warned. If you persist or REPOST what we've removed you will be banned.
6. No creation of multiple accounts
You are only allowed ONE ACCOUNT. You do not need any more than that. If you are found creating more than one account, all but ONE will be deleted and you will be warned. If you do it again, you will be banned. CREATING ACCOUNTS TO GET AROUND A BANNED ACCOUNT WILL EARN YOU A PERMANENT IP BAN. We give you plenty of chances, please do not abuse them
7. No advertising
This board is not meant to promote your board/magazine/website/band/etc. All posts dealing with advertising will be deleted.
GUIDELINES
Usernames: We only allow members to have ONE username. If you wish to change your name, please contact an admin and they will take care of it for you. Please note that we only allow one change per user. If it's a spelling mistake, we do not count that, but please be careful when choosing your name!
Nudity Policy: Tasteful nudity, generally done for fashion purposes, is allowed as long as it is TEXT LINKED with a very clear warning what the link contains. Any post with a nude image prominently displayed will be removed, and the member warned.
Avatar & Signature Limits: Avatars should be kept at a maximum of 200 x 200 pixels. Avatars uploaded onto the site should be no more than 60kb in size.
Signatures should be no more than 600 pixels in width by 150 pixels in height. This includes multiple images but not text. If you have an image in your signature, a maximum of 3 lines of text on the default size are allowed. Without an image, 8 lines of text on the default size are allowed. An example of the MAXIMUM signature size is pictured below. Please use this for reference when creating your signatures. It cannot be over these specifications.

The staff reserve the right to remove your avatar and/or signature at any time if the rules are not followed, however, if you disagree contact a staff member and we'll look into it.
Warnings: We have a system for keeping people in check and making this a nice place to visit. Looking at your profile you will notice a 'warn' area. When you are warned, the blocks will fill. Click on the percentage to see the reasons for your warns. If at any time you have more than three warns, you will be banned permanently. Think of this as a 'three strikes, you're out' policy. This may seem harsh to some, but we want this to be a place where everyone can have fun, and not just a select few.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THESE RULES AT ANY TIME. CHANGES TO THE RULES WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THE SITE & FORUM SUB FORUM. ALSO NOTE THAT CONTACTING US THROUGH OUR PERSONAL EMAILS/WEBSITES/JOURNALS WILL NOT MAKE US LIFT BANS OR WARNINGS ANY FASTER AND MAY ONLY MAKE US MAKE THEM PERMANENT.
